The H 2306 is designed for bearings with a 30 mm tapered bore. Common compatible bearing series include 1306, 2306, 22306, and self-aligning ball bearings or spherical roller bearings with the appropriate 'K' suffix in their designation.

Proper installation requires a corresponding KM 6 lock nut and an MB 6 lock washer. You will also need a hook spanner (also known as a C-spanner) of the correct size to tighten the lock nut and drive the bearing up the tapered seat of the sleeve to achieve the required internal clearance reduction.
