FAQ

The 'T' model (XUS-LNG5E0750T) is the Transmitter (Emitter) which sends out the infrared light beams. The 'R' model (XUS-LNG5C0750R) is the Receiver which detects the beams. Both are required to create a functional safety curtain.

This is a Type 2 safety device as clearly indicated on the label. Type 2 devices are suitable for lower-risk applications where an injury would be slight. For high-risk applications where severe injury or death is possible, a Type 4 device is required.

The maximum operating distance (sensing range) is 15 meters, as limited by the receiver's specification (0.3-15m). This provides flexibility for guarding both small and large machine access points.
