The LA4KE1FC is an RC (Resistor-Capacitor) circuit designed to limit the transient overvoltage generated when the relay coil is de-energized. This protects sensitive control devices like PLC outputs from electrical noise and potential damage.

This is a control relay (rated at 10A thermal current, AC-1) and is not designed for direct-on-line starting of motors. It should be used to energize the coil of a larger power contactor (like a TeSys D model), which would then handle the motor's starting and running current.

The TeSys K series relays can be mounted in two ways. They can be clipped directly onto a standard 35mm DIN rail or they can be screw-mounted to a panel using the mounting holes on the base of the unit.
