FAQ

The "J" spool configuration means that in the neutral, unactuated position, the pressure port (P) is connected directly to the tank port (T). This depressurizes the system line, which can be a safety feature or a way to reduce energy consumption when the actuator is idle. The work ports (A and B) are blocked.

While the valve body is standard, the solenoids are voltage-specific. To change the operating voltage, you would need to replace the existing G24 (24V DC) solenoids with the correct AC solenoids and corresponding connectors from Rexroth. Direct replacement without changing the coils is not possible and would damage them.

NG10 refers to the nominal size of the valve ports and corresponds to the standardized ISO 4401-05-04-0-05 subplate mounting pattern (also known as CETOP 5). This ensures that the valve will fit on any standard NG10 manifold or subplate, regardless of the manufacturer, which makes it highly interchangeable in hydraulic systems.
