What is the difference between NSK's DDU and ZZS seals?

DDU refers to a double contact rubber seal (one on each side) which provides excellent protection against dust and moisture, but has slightly higher friction. ZZS refers to a double non-contact metal shield, which offers lower friction and is suitable for higher speeds, but provides less protection against fine contaminants and liquids.
