Is this a safety-rated device?

No, the manufacturer explicitly states on the label that the EZ-ARRAY is NOT a safety device. It should not be used for personal protection or machine guarding applications. For safety applications, Banner offers dedicated safety light curtains.

This is the receiver unit (EASR...). It requires a matching EZ-ARRAY emitter unit, specifically the EAE600-600, to function correctly. Both units must be properly aligned to create the measurement field.
