FAQ

A 5/3 closed-center valve has three positions. In the neutral (center) position, all ports are blocked. This allows you to stop and hold a double-acting cylinder in any position along its stroke by trapping the air on both sides of the piston.

These coils use a standard DIN 43650 Form B connector. The images show that MPM brand connectors are fitted, but any connector conforming to this standard will be compatible.

Airtec valves of this vintage are generally designed to operate with both lubricated and non-lubricated compressed air, as long as the air is filtered to prevent contamination.
