This relay has a Trip Class 10A. This means it is designed to trip within 10 seconds when the motor is drawing 7.2 times its set full-load current (FLC), which is a typical starting condition for standard motors.

The TA25 DU is primarily designed for direct mounting onto compatible ABB A-line contactors (e.g., A26, A30, A40). For standalone mounting, a separate terminal block accessory (like the DB25) is required.

There is a blue selector button on the front face of the relay. You can press and turn it to select either 'H' (Hand/Manual reset) or 'A' (Automatic reset). Manual reset requires an operator to press the blue reset button after a trip, while automatic reset will attempt to reset itself once the bimetallic strips have cooled down.
